Dedicated to Compassion
Our community strives to create an environment which fosters
equal treatment
of all our clients, residents, staff, volunteers
or board
members. Inclusion and openness
to all faiths is an important element
of our philosophy. Our dedication to Jesus'
message of "Love" impels
us to this universal acceptance of all people, regardless of their religious
beliefs.
Since 1983!
Our mission statement directs us to be examples to each other
by providing support, being non-judgemental, and easing suffering with gentleness
and compassion. These are the values we try to exemplify in our work
at Shepherds of Good Hope.
In providing our services, we are greatly assisted by our donors
who are an invaluable asset to our organization. We are extremely
grateful for their generosity and we thank all of them on behalf of our
clients.
As well, we acknowledge our volunteers. They share both
their time and expertise with our programs and their contribution is crucial
to our work. Thank you, each and every one.
Finally, we would like to express our appreciation for the
staff members who have chosen to work at Shepherds of Good Hope and have
dedicated themselves to the well being of our clients. Thank you,
to the staff.
We have been blessed with dedicated volunteers, generous donors
and compassionate staff.
To all who read this, please remember our work here at Shepherds
of Good Hope and keep us in your prayers.

Shepherds of Good Hope is a God-centered community
joined together to serve and support all those whose needs
are not being met.
As a God-centered community,
we strive to serve and accept one another with joy, dignity and respect.
In carrying out our mission,
we believe in the power of prayer and the love of God.
In providing support,
our aim is never to judge, but rather to ease suffering with gentleness
and compassion.
It follows then, that
anyone wishing to join this community as a board member, executive, staff,
or volunteer, embrace this philosophy as a matter of personal conviction
and heartfelt belief so that our deeds reflect Christ's message
of love.
